Atomic Habits is about real change.
The book Atomic Habits is applicable to everything. Everything! The word is freeing and overwhelming. How do I show the power of an atomic habit? My answer was: fractal burning.
In every bit of design work I take on, I try to push the boundaries of my craft, and I was inspired to create a laser- engraved book cover inspired by fractal burning. This chemical reaction was the perfect way to display the power of an atomic habit.

Learning a new craft was crucial to spreading message of this book cover and branding.
This visual can be applied to different things, much like the actual book. It can be interpreted as neurons activating, like how a habit is formed.
It can look like the roots of a plant growing, to nurture a new life.
It can be a chemical reaction, on wood and in the brain.
Laser engraving made this the execution of this concept possible, and I’ve grown a much stronger appreciation for it. I’m very proud of this outcome and I’d like to do more bookcover designs in the future.
